Got out to the speed dome for afew laps on the weekend thanks to the WRX club of WA. Car went well with afew hiccups that will need sorting. Power steering pump blew its load all through the engine bay so will need a rebuild or complete replacement. Contemplating doing a quick rack upgrade while fucking around with it. Clutch system had issues, bite point was dissapearing behind the firewall once the car was hot. Possibly have air stuck in the lines somewhere from when i did the GD system upgrade so will need to bleed it and see what i find. Otherwise had a rad time and csr seems to be competitivish even if the driver isnt.

fit the electric steering unit out of an astra

Definitely open to other options and didnt even think of somthing like that. Do you mean the electric pump or steering rack?

But I would just get the front knuckle kit Kim ledger had on his GC and you would be blown away running rings around all others
