If they can get 215 / 225's in 17's I'm sure there would be a lot of interested people.

Theses are the new R-comps right? i.e. I wouldn't have them as my daily tyres.

these are the new r-comp spec yes from what they could tell me, the lady i spoke to was pretty sure.

and no i would not use these everyday, as you would get bugger all kms, and i'd imagine when they are down a bit would probably be noisy as all hell.

looks like too much tread pattern for an R-comp?

Looks like a Hi-po street tyre, not a Competition tyre going by the US site.

Any Update on this?

Ive been looking for a decent street semislick. Re070s are too much, And nobody wants to deal with Falken rt615s. These seem right up my alley.

I need them in 225/45/17

I just got Hankook RS-2's put on in 215/45R17 and they are certainly sticky enough. the 215 variant cost me $279 a corner from Wheels World. Certainly worth a look. There's a pic of the tyres I posted in the Rims.... thread.
