Bump about these tyres as im in need of new rubber cause the geolanders on the foz are almost ratted.

Also after a balance too damn potholes in Margs River roads.

Rang them on Weds last week, no new stock yet.

I'm holidays for the next few weeks, so maybe ring a tyre shop and ask them to give Kumho a ring directly, they'll be able to easily tell you within 1 phone call.

I called up Wheels World for a price on the new Kumhos ku36. $240 in 225/45/17.

Sounds good. I reckon I'll be giving these a shot.

Also BTW...

I also got a price on Hankook RS-2 in the same size and it was $280.

Yep but the RS-2's will last a shit load longer. Hoses for courses really. If you need a street legal tyre and don't drive hard or much the Kumho's should be very good. Plus they look ferocious which is always good

OKAY I FINALLY GOT AN UPDATE.

Talked to one of the guys up there, he said these are NOT a "r" compound, just an extremely soft compound that was made ADR approved, and therefore road approved with a pretty aggresive tread pattern. He said on this compound they've maxx'ed 15 thousand kays, so not for the person wanting longevity out of the tyre.

They have updated the range IN STOCK IN PERTH.

Best bet is to ring a local Kumho dealer, as for me to get them for you it'll cost a bit more due to freight down to Bunbury etc, so be sunsmart and ring a Perth store !

I didn't get prices on any of them, due to the fact i have to add on at least 10-15 per wheel for freight. If you buy them up there, they will be a lot cheaper. Thats the problem with getting stuff down here.

smash up prices in the workshop section anyway, doesnt hurt for a price guage (or price gouge depending on the workshop... )
