Well the title kinda sums it up.

Hello I am a first time wrx owner, pretty much here for help and other bits and pieces.

I recently got a 97 wrx with a few mods.

-Exhaust ( Cat has been removed ) with 2 hotdogs that's it.
-Injectors changed to STI ( unsure of what year )
-Boost seems to run at ~15psi ( no controller just a T piece )

That's about it really, but I am uncertain about the boost level though, The T piece one way goes to 12psi and switching it to the other side goes to ~15psi.

Anyway I live in cannington and seem to be one of the very few with green 90's Subi

Well now I'm seeing it like this too, So yes it is....for now

I've noticed it sometimes runs higher than that

3rd gear will sometimes hit 16psi

I'm assuming cold weather could cause that?

I have since switched it back to 12psi

Manual boost controllers all do that - they cannot compensate for air density changes.

Ditch it & get an electronic controller.
