E-TTL COMPATIBLE which means it reads settings from the camera as in light and zoom and sets the amount of flash required, also has the auto focus assist beam on the flash great for trying to focus in those low light areas where camera normally just keeps hunting for focus.

great flash pivots so u can bounce light off roof etc.
