Used Advan A050 R-Comps 245/40/17
Hey all,
Got 4 used Advan A050 R-Comps in 245/40/17 (medium compound) that I can't use anymore (running a big brake set up which only clears 18" rims). Tread measurements (tread when new is 4.8mm according to Dr Google): - 2 tyres are ~3mm which equates to approx 50-60% wear - The other two are ~2mm which equates to approx 35-40% wear *Measurements were to the bottom of the tread grooves. Tyre manufacture date is the 32nd week of 2009. Overall even though ages wise they are quite old, they're still in ok condition. I've had a prod with my finger nail and the compound isn't completely dead/rock hard and still leaves a mark fairly easily. They should be good for another 1-2 more track days. aren't you a genius!  and it's not even school holidays! anyone who knows anything about motorsport tyres, and is interested in buying these, would want to know this answer; soft or medium compound?

Motorsport tyres are round and black. Quite soft when warmed.
