I agree. I'd rather use reasonably clean 98ron than dirty coal.

Another Positive about this car (and probably most electic/hybrid cars) is the conservation of energy when breaking:

The PEM (Power Electronics Module) performs several critical functions, including motor torque control, regenerative braking control, and charging. Of course the most notable thing inside the car is the battery itself: our ESS (Energy Storage System) is safe, lightweight, and able to take you 250 miles between charges.

Regenrative braking, so this means that engine breaking (or simply using the breaks) will charge the battery too.
