depends on the turbo.

If you have a td04. Then its probably not worth doing as you can get larger bolt on IHI VF Series turbos for pretty cheap.

Say you had a modern td05 20g and you wanted more out of it. It may then be worth high flowing a turbo like this. Instead of buying a td06, you could possibly get it high flowed to fit a td06 compressor wheel or something like that.
