Hey

This is to all the I.T. dudes out there...

My GF is sending me files that have an extension as follows: .dat

Now from what i can gather is that they are photos that have been opened and then re-sized or something then saved as this file. I don't have the relevant program to open these. So i cant see them. They are coming via email from Sydney.
My question is, is there a quick solution that i can open these, re-save them and then burn to a cd? Or better yet, can someone please tell me whats going on.

Edit: I have checked with internet help and its saying something like Corel WordPerfect Merge Data is needed.
