in my opinion wearing a seatbelt is "personal safety", a time when people should use common sense. not to enforced by the law. if your old enough to get a license you should be capable of making such decisions.

also $500 is ALOT of money to some people.

image if you were a single mother who's only income is from centrelink. one day you make a mistake a forget your seatbelt. where do you get the $500 from? thats food out of your and children's mouths.
