Well while us "city boys" rush to our rash assumptions, don't forget that the "country boys" are more likely to:
- Drive without seatbelts
- Drive under the influence due to lack of taxis
- Drive over the speed limit (flame suit on!

)
- Lower requirements to obtain a license (its always been the myth, if you can't get your license in Perth go to a country cop shop and drive the local copper around and thats it. Not 100% sure on the truth to that though, as I have never sat a driving test in the country).
- etc etc etc
I'm not having a go at any type of driver (country or city). What all this is pointing to are a couple of bleeding obvious problems. Correct the roads and correct the driving skills/behaviour of people.
Too many Perth drivers now have the mentality that if they sit 5km/hr under the speed limit, they are perfectly safe. There are too many other factors in driving to have this attitude.
