Correct me if I'm wrong, but since ADR's for WA say that you can't have a rim wider than 7" wide unless it came that wide from the factory, anything over the 7" wide would have insurance issues since it breaches ADR's? (...if push came to shove and they did a full inspection of your car after it was written off, for example)

"In any event, rim width shall not exceed 177.8 mm (7") unless specified by the manufacturer as standard equipment for the vehicle in question. No increase in rim width is permitted for vehicles fitted with original equipment rims in excess of 177.8 mm (7") width."
