05 STi rim is 17x8 and +50 from memory.

I'm assuming the coilovers have a small keeper spring which should only be adjusted to keep the main spring captive on full extension. Putting a shorter main spring is not the best solution. Also not a good idea to run an 05/6/7 too low since you will ruin the handling...changes the roll centre too much.
