I cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information, but I do consider the source reliable.
When asked whether the 2008 STI will appeal to current STI enthusiasts, the answer was yes, it would appeal to even those enthusiasts who strongly dislike the 2008 Impreza.
When asked what was going to be different between the WRX and STI, the answer was that the STI was going to be a
Wide Body.
Now that would represent bringing back a legend! Of course, we would have to see it and have to like how it would look on the Impreza frame, but any rumor of a wide body gets my blood flowing.
Consider it a rumor until I can get further confirmation from a different, unrelated source.
