Define without protest??

Modifying a GC8 with parts such as FMIC, BOV, POD, TBE still cause problems and without doubt, the ECU will protest...

If you owned one, and modified it to this extent, you would know that you will have over-fuelling issues, boost cut issues... to name two!

The fact is, any car, WRX or other, is not designed to have aftermarket parts attached without updating/tuning the ECU to encompass the modifications.

FMIC's particularly alter the amount of boost you will make(when i fitted mine to my GF8 wagon it spiked 4psi more than previously) and this can cause all sorts of problems...

At the end of the day, if you value the condition of your motor, get some sort of tune be it Verso/Power FC/Autronic/Link/Motec etc... cos just because it drives, doesnt mean its ok!...
