Let me paraphrase their letter:
"Boo hoo. Our artificially high pricing has collapsed and we don't like it. Now it's harder for us to justify so much money for our product when tuners are having a hard time demanding an equally high ransom. Now that people tune their own cars it has removed the "gee whiz" factor and that has us quite bummed."
Note that I never complain about paying a tuner for his time & labor. I only object to the rediculously marked up products you (and he) are required to buy before he can even start on your car.
