Not really, a 2.8ltr 4 cyclinder starts to have reving issues as the rotating piston becomes more square like in its movement. Thus limits rpm down to around 5-6rpm and theres a huge stress on the crank.

Anything bigger than a 2.5 4 bagger id gom with a 6 in terms of displacement.
