There may be a problem with one or more sensors on your engine if that's all you get out of a full tank with the standard ECU. It will obviously still run the engine (badly) but when you fit the link ECU it's worse because it's a different tune. This Link came out of one of mine which has a 1996 JDM loom so it should be very similar (if not identical) to your 1995 JDM loom. Try to sort out why it's running so rich with the standard ECU, then try the Link again. Or take it to RMS and get their opinion. Incedently, when I removed that Link that I sold you, I temporarily fitted a standard 1996 JDM ECU and the car runs OK.
