we probably need more detail... like what voltage is your batterey making at the amp?

try earthing to another spot. is there any funny smells comming from the amp?

make sure it isnt shorting anywhere on the chasis (eg power cable have been cut)

your best bet is to try another amp that you know works and try it at that spot :P
