Yar. In the wet you have to drive slowly because AWD just means you will get into trouble at a faster speed.

Driver training would have been a good thing to do ASAP after getting your first rex. The wet skidpan stuff really helps you out mentally so that you don't panic.

Having said that there are situations where no driver training would make a difference and pure luck determines whether you make it our not. I know because i have slid sideways up a freeway onramp with no steering at about 60kph after aquaplanning on oil/water and luckily didnt hit anything.

Condolances on your car but your alive and your friend is too which is great.
