Yeah but WRX's are heavily biased to the front .... why do you think they are so inclined to understeer?
They also weigh less Adz, so they are easily to handle when they do go silly. We arnt talking about acceleration figures, the accident was low low speed. Id rather have to catch a 1400kg WRX then a 1850kg whale VE in a tank slapper
A WRX also has better brakes to pull it up. Having a turbo in the wet is ok if you drive to suit.. bring it only boost gently and its fine. Almost better then a 6l thong slapper with instant low rpm torque I would say.
The statement made was that you shouldnt let inexperienced people in high powered cars. My simple point was that it has nothing to do with power. People are blaming the lowest common denominator for no real reasons.
