Tim, if you're mate isn't happy with a cost, why is he getting anything done?
Is that $100 to only clear an
ecu? I don't think so and I'm sure there are some extra services in there (for instance, the time to diagnose a problem?).
Also a lot of people want to put their car into a workshop (any workshop, be it ASG, RMS, MMS, RT etc) and want them to diagnose problems at no cost. To clear an
ecu you need a laptop, cables, time, knowledge on the codes etc etc. This isn't free.
All I'm trying to say is if anyone wants to post positive or negative information about any workshop, give all the details. If anyone tried to charge me $100 for a 5 minute job, I sure as hell wouldn't be accepting it.
