Driving down to Albany yesterday, I let my GF take over after halfway. She's just off her Ps and a little bit timid especially when it comes to overtaking. I normally have to tell her when she should over-take. So on this occasion I tell her yup it's fine you've got plenty of time. But she didn't go straight away, checked her mirrors about 6 times and slowly pulled out. By this time we are rapidly approaching the brow of a hill and you cannot see what's coming at all, I yell for her to go faster and she panics and does a rabbit in the headlights and hardly accelerates. We are parallel with the other car and have been for 30sec doing 120. So I yell for her to brake, which she does & then we pull in back behind the other car as we go over the brow of the hill (on the wrong side of the road). Anything coming we were both dead. I was so angry....and scared sh*tless. My life flashed before my eyes. Needless to say I drove the rest of the way!
