38mm dosent have the v-band which comes with the tial-44mm. id recommend getting the 44 just as u have less chance of leak around the joins.

U can combine a 1 and 0.5 bar spring to make it open at 1.5bar.. u wouldnt want to get a 1bar spring as the gate will be opening up when u dont want it to.
