I'm curious to whether anyone has had runs with Mazda 6 MPS's?

On the way home last night I rocked up next to one at a set of lights. It appeared to be stock and I was in the outside lane, both turning right off the lights. We casually took off and half way through 1st he booted it. I changed to second then nailed it too, expecting to catch up to him easily given my car and mild mods compared to what appeared to be a stock 6 MPS. To my surprise I only managed to reel him in slowly.

I put it down to the massive torque the MPS puts out compared to my 2L 05 STi.
