The v6's have the EJ20t still, I think the 01-02 was the 205 & the 03+ has the 207. As mentioned the 207 has the semi-closed block.

The only other thing I can think of would be more aggressive cams. The internals are forged but they're not "forged" in the same way after market gear would be.

Whats the G.. O.. Tone, you looking to tinker?
