Is it an option to get gears 1-2 Straight cut, and get 3-4 Helicut using PPG sets?
Because aparently from what i watched on the ignition DvD it says that the PPG helicut gears are like normal but are ALOT stronger then stanard gears. 1st and 2nd gears would be straight cut to provide the dog engagement of dumping clutches to launch, and pushing 1st to 2nd gear hard. 5th isnt really used on drag unless you have insane horsepower id say. And if you spent that much, why not get straightcut 1-5?
Just ideas i spose but my 4th-5th gear crunches when im revving hard from 4th to 5th. I believe its my synchros going
