Everything was the standard full 2.5 drive train, so I suspect VF39. As far as I know nothing internal was touched. Only addition appeared to be a electronic boost controller.

The car was not spared the rod at all and it is still getting the same treatment.

Just amazed me that nothing went bang with all the stories of the early 257's giving way under stress. Might just be a freak engine.
