luca, im just running a stock crank that will prolly just be machined up...

There is no need to run a billet crank imo.. if u have an upgraded oil pump or put extra shims in the pump to increase the pressure then u should be fine..

A billet crank as joe has pointed out is all of those things however i think that its only important if spinning the engine 8500+rpm. If u wanted to go that high then u would need alot more things done anyway...

In saying that there are U.S made billet cranks going for around 1200 USD...

As for the heads, it all depends where u want to make power. The standard heads and cams will drop off the power band around 6-6500rpm. If ur going with a big turbo like a 35R then u should think about doing cams which will keep the power band increasing to around 7500rpm...

Heads should be ported at the minimum with single retainers and springs. Cams should also be changed imo...

People have also said that using 1mm oversize valves also helps to increase air flow, but thats not a necessitiy imo (something that im contemplating atm).

Remember this is only my opinion take with a grain of salt.. hahahahah
