Well, i was about to start a thread here regarding something like this here and how to combat it.
Over at NissanSilvia.com forums, the owner is developing a website called
forumscams.com, basically its an invitation to all forum admins/mods around Australia to join and posting scammers who operate and take advantage of the forums.
Anyway, ill paste what he has said;

I have been in talks with the the national police branch of electronic fraud to try and work out a system by which they can actively chase up reports that come through the site.
basically the way it will work :
banner advert / text advert for the site on their site
their mods/admins get access to the site
their site gets listed as "partners" of forumscams.com

Im pretty sure there will not be any fees involved, but ill keep you updated. I know these forums arent very prone to this sort of thing, but i still think would be a good idea to participate in this.
