We just opened up a new one at Park Centre, and thats why I ask because I thought it might have been you!

As for your fitout issues, do you have a make good agreement in the contract? If so, the builder has to "make good" on the fitout before they can be paid in full.

Many won't do this though, as things do arise in the current environment (especially with the demand on tradespeople at the current time) and they can agree to fix problems in due course, after the construction is completed, rather than do it before releasing the fitout to the tenant.

They CAN be c*nts about it though if its not explicitly outlined in the contract. If you're not having much luck, get your lessor's FM manager onto them....they'd be as keen to get the fitout completed as you are, and they'd probably have a lot more pull with the builder too. Thats just in my experience
