I say no to nuclear. There are still far too many items that are not 'safe' and I do not like the idea of leaving a present underground for future generations. Sure not my problem, but I don't like the idea.

With the money invested in building and developing nuclear plants, I am sure the same could be put into wind/solar/wave energy development which could yield far better results.

Nuclear is a 'quick this will fix it' solution. We are meant to be the smart country, so let's not follow all the other countries into nuclear and develop the next generation of power supplies.
