Thanks for the replies guys..

As both ramon and pete have said, i shouldnt have been so naieve in this whole process, but i never would have thought that a brand NEW engine would be assembled in such a manner. The seller was also in the same position as myself and didnt believe that those tests needed to be conducted as the engine was brand new. When the engine was in his car, he was also told the reasoning for not making power was due to a 'flow' restriction.

This is one of the reasons i have posted on here, to show others that even what u think may be in perfect condition a simple test would remove all the heartache and money that has been lost in this exercise.

I purposely didnt list the names of people or companies involved as those that know wot happened know those involved. Secondly i didnt want to turn this into, my workshop is better than urs thread.
