+1 - You'll see a nice big bright yellow wiring loom running above the RH wheel liner. All it will take is a well targetted rock or stick to flick up, or some spirited driving causing rubbing and you're gonna be in some pain ($'s).
IMO Subaru put the liners there for a reason
