It's interesting how people tend to classify crime by what they think is more serious act.

a person known to me bashed a guy in northbridge leaving him in coma and now with brain damage, he went to jail for 6 months and all people of the people that have known him still treat him the same as before...still a good mate, boyfriend etc....

don't think this would happen if he had downloaded child porn...

not saying downloading child porn is ok, coz i think its wrong and some children somewhere in the world have been mistreated because of it.

my point is that the community accepts certain (and potentially worse) crimes over the others.... what would happen if a drug dealer selling hard stuff to kids under 18 was caught?
