Subaru actually don't make them anymore... so count getting genuine ones out unless you can get them secondhand
They were actually more of a mud guard than a mud flap though.
Not sure of stores in Aus, but have you tried ebay, few good sets on there from the UK. Although might be the same costs as the ones you have been quoted.
