However, this is why i believe its a suitable logotype; its a nice, simple, elegant font, its in black and its not overdone with effects, these all contribute to making it detract from your actual works as little as possible
Its a rounded font with a heavy stroke which gives it a cartoony feel and also i have angled it slightly and added a simple splatter at the end to make it more informal and 'fun' as i can see you want to go with what you did,
Thats the gist of it, but imo it presents a better image of your 'business' if you would
