Default Cleaning Intercooler cores's

anyone had any experience cleaning the inside of the core of their FMIC or TMIC? im looking to give my system a good flush and wash out to get rid of any accumulation of muck.

any cleaning products that anyone can recommend that wont disolve the aluminium or make a problem worse?

(i stress that i want to clean -inside- the core, not the fins themselves)

cheers
