So long as they target genuine hoons causing problems on the road, I see no problem in it. Do the crime do the time.
If by bringing in these new laws we all get tarred with the same brush (i.e. omgz modified car yo, must be a hoon) then no I disagree with this approach.
Funny how they release articles saying how the hoon laws must be working since there are only a few repeat offenders and fewer people being caught. I hope the monetary penalty didn't increase to make sure they still get the same revenue, I mean... well I mean revenue
