y'all

i am an ex ss (twin turbo vyss) owner. good points-

big power

handled decent once i did a lot of suspension mods ( these were: all new bushes, bilstein coilovers and various camber caster adjusters etc, adjustable swaybars, strut braces and body braces, harrop strengthened hubs at front to correct geometry etc, and harrop big brakes)(by decent i mean an sti or evo was NOT going ANYWHERE even at trackdays))

heaps of quality workshops to choose from / massive aftermarket support

clutches/ gearboxes and diffs take a heck of a punishment before they start whinging

relatively cheap to get big power- my twins cost 12000 drive in/out for 600hp

fuel economy is not as bad as what people think when you say its a 5.7/6L

putting your foot down was funnier than a box of birds.

bad points-

shit, shit build quality

value drops like a cannonball in water

body/chassis loose.

i know that ve's are much much improved and i did test drive them more than a few times to make sure, but this time i preferred sti FTW

cheers
