a dyno machine is used to test the strength of your car. the way it works is: you attach belts to the back and you have to floor your car as hard as you can to try snap the belts off.

the belts are rated at like ~100hp ~200hp ~300hp etc etc.

So when u snap the belt - at its rating - it means thats how much hp you have
