I use Vista atm, and i'm not going back, so easy, auto update/install is fantastic. The reason why a few people have trouble with the 64 bit version is that there is/was a lack of drivers for most things. I'm currently using Vista Ultimate 32bit and is so far the best os i've used. Never had a blue screen, anythign freezes ctl+alt+del works a charm, close the program and no issues. Just make sure that if you have any classic games that you would like to play still vista is a bit hit and miss with some of them. Work with some, not work with others. 2 Gig is about the min you would want to be running, more the better, nice core2 cpu and it will be happy as.
