It's rated at 217 kw for Oz, but the real loss is in torque.
Local model is rated at 366 nm whereas the JDM is (iirc) 422nm
Combined with a kerb weight of nearly 1600kgs, that's a bit of a handicap compared the the IX, and even the new STi, which is quite a lot lighter.
It appears that (in Oz at least) they're chasing the sort of person who doesn't want a track car, and more of a luxury performance car.
