Depends exactly what you want to do. From time to time we might be able to get you into most aspects of mining. It's not all big machines. You could get into enrty level serviceman roles, drill and blast crews, pit tech, fixed plant (ie crushers/mills/screening etc), shutdowns, lab sampling, the list really does goes on. Mostly you need a background, sometimes you don't. I have a feeling that entry level positions may be posted/advertised in this very thread, or one that looks just like it!
