If you've already got the exhaust sorted, then just run some decent gearbox oil (Motul, Redline MTX) and upgrade brakes / handling. Some of the used brake parts in the For Sale section are a bolt on upgrade for your car, & a cheap way to get quality stopping power. Don't be in a rush, what you have is a great first car
Alternatively, the cheapest way to go a little quicker down the strip without a turbo is chemical supercharging (off road only of course). The crank will take it without any problems.
