Sure - the car is both expensive and cheap depending on how you look at it.
Cheap if you compare it to a Targa prepped GT2, Lambo, etc.
Expensive if you compare it to Glenney's Targa Tassie winning Evo or a PBMS prepped STi.
Putting a $ value on R&D and being the first person to do it will always be hard to measure - the market will ultimately tell. I was just pointing out that under the M1 Targa regs the only mods you can do (apart from safety gear) is
ECU, springs, dampers & brakes.
