Siaw- learn to steer ANY car well first, work out the faults YOU are making, and only THEN modify your car to suit your new driving style. Doing this in the opposite order will only increase your bad habits due to many of the mods masking the problem!

Also, the term 'slow in-fast out' is something that actually needs to be learnt (given context) and then practiced. Otherwise you can actually take this advice and still be doing it wrong!
