have you tried using a DVD Data disc? They are usual 4.3GB - I'm pretty sure I backed up my itunes library years ago (Queen, Take That, Jason Donovan etc
) onto a DVD - not sure if it'll play in an MP3 player (songs obviously must be MP3 to even try)
