Hi guys, this ones for the camera gurus (Jan, Sleepy, NVRENUF etc)

Basically, as some might know im off to germany next march on student exchange and i wanted to take a DSLR to take snaps on my trip in germnay and around europe.

I have had exposure (no pun intended) to SLR photograph before, 7 years ago but ive forgotten all about lens size meaning, appertures etc.

Basically im looking for a good camera to do the following:

All pourpose
scenic
HDR
Night shots
being able to zoom in on F1 cars and taking action shots :P

what lenses should i have to cover all or most of those?

ive got a $2000 budget including tripod, memory card, bag etc

The few ive heard about and are looking at the moment are

Nikon D60, D80, D90
Cannon 450D
Pentax K20D

I plan on doing a short course to get me up to basics. Looking at buying withing next couple of months so i can play around with it before i go.

Any input would be much appreciated.
