take the encryption off just to test, and see if the laptop will work with the wireless, that will narrow it down to either a problem with the laptop/router or a problem with the encryption. It will give you an idea to know where to start looking

if it works then you know the encryption is the culprit, put your encryption back on and then work on the laptop wireless settings. i doubt itd be your router, especially with latest firmware and working with everything else
